PCL, WIL Meet With C Clubs

Little Action At Minors Meeting
PORTLAND, Feb. 1 — Pacific Northwest Minor league baseball officials opened a two-day meeting here Thursday on baseball's problems for the coming year.
Discussions were principally on plans for observance of the organized Minor leagues' Golden anniversary during the coming season.
"The Minors as a whole are very sound. We have lost a few players and will lose some more but we plan to continue operation" said Robert Finch, public relations director for the National Association of Professional baseball leagues.
Officials from the Coast league, the Western International, the Pioneer and the Far West leagues were on hand.
