YAKIMA, May 11—The Tacoma Tigers climbed out of the Western International league cellar Friday night as they put together 15 hits for a 12 to 3 win over Yakima.
Tacoma sewed the game up as early as the third inning when they scored four runs. Bob Schulte and Mike Catron contributed doubles to spark the rally. Schulte, a new addition to the Tacoma roster, spaced 10 hits for the win.
